If the existing tiles are secure and the wall is flat, dry, and clean, they can stay in place. This is particularly useful when updating a bathroom or kitchen you still need to use.
A simpler way to finish the wall
Panels can be cut with a utility knife or suitable saw and joined together. There is no need to set many individual tiles or grout every tile joint. Careful substrate preparation, bonding, and edge sealing are still essential.
Fewer joints to maintain
Panels create a more continuous look without conventional tile grout lines that need scrubbing. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth and a suitable cleaner, and inspect sealed joints periodically.
Suitable for wet rooms
The water-resistant panels can be used in bathrooms and shower areas. The panel itself does not replace a complete waterproofing system: in showers, prepare and waterproof the substrate first, then seal corners, openings, and wall-to-floor junctions carefully.
